Carmel FC: Soccer Coach
Carmel FC is our local, travel soccer club. I served as head coach for 2005-2006 boys & then 2008 boys programs and all teams under those age groups. I coached 3 nights a week, and 2-4 games every weekend across two of my boys from March until November! I coached Carmel Dad’s Club (recreational) as well for a total of 10+ years.
We love the game, I am committed to having these kids having a passion for the game and playing the game the right way, with sportsmanship, tenacity, and a spirit that allows them to succeed in life as it would on the field.
I have by US SOCCER E License.
Ivy Tech Advisory Council
Building a bigger restaurant community.
While I was running the Academy of Spirits & Fine Service, I noted there was a mixology class as a part of Ivy Tech’s class offerings. Instead of trying to compete, I chose to lean in and see how our organizations could best work together. That turned into a partnership with SGWS, along with culinary students working our SWIRL events.
We also created a series of hosted discussions with culinary leaders in the city for a monthly roundtable for sharing, learning, and development to better our entire restaurant, beverage, culinary community.
